Dataset Structure and Columns

1. Name

The dataset begins with descriptive names for each color. These names are intuitive and recognizable, making it easier to relate to the associated colors (e.g., “Azure”, “Coral”, or “Mint Green”).

2. Hex Code (24-bit)

Each color is associated with a hexadecimal code, commonly used in web design and UI/UX development. The hex code represents the color in a six-character string, blending the red, green, and blue values (e.g., #FF5733). It’s particularly useful for embedding consistent color codes in websites or digital media.

3. RGB Values (8-bit)

The RGB values describe the intensity of the red, green, and blue channels for each color. This is crucial for image and video applications where precise color reproduction is required. Each value ranges from 0 (no intensity) to 255 (full intensity).

• Red (8-bit): The contribution of red to the color.
• Green (8-bit): The contribution of green.
• Blue (8-bit): The contribution of blue.

4. Hue (Degrees)

Hue represents the actual color type and is measured in degrees on a 360° color wheel. For example, a hue of 0° corresponds to red, while 120° is green, and 240° is blue. It’s an essential metric for understanding the dominant color.
